Matching Gifts

Make your gift to the Durham Symphony go twice as far! If you are employed by one of the more than 900 companies across the country which match their employees’ contributions to non-profit organizations, your gift could double in value. Participating in your company’s Matching Gift program is very simple.

Contact your Human Resources Office for eligibility requirements and to obtain a Matching Gift form or search online. (Remember, many companies also match the gifts of retirees, spouses, surviving spouses, and outside directors.)

Honorary or Memorial Gifts

Honorary or Memorial Gifts offer a way to commemorate special people or events in your life.  Donations can mark milestones such as recitals, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, or graduations. It is also a touching way to honor the memory of dear friends and loved ones. Donations may be made in any amount. When you make such a gift, a personalized letter is sent in your name to the honoree or family apprising them of your tribute. A card will also be sent to you as a record of your tax-deductible gift.
